Bridgewater College is a member of the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) online course sharing consortium which gives students access to courses via the Acadeum platform. Acadeum enables students to enroll in courses offered by partner institutions, ensuring flexibility in fulfilling academic requirements.
Current Bridgewater College students can search the Acadeum platform to potentially take courses in the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) consortium only. To do so, go directly to the Acadeum Course Sharing website to search for potential courses.
Once on the Acadeum site, scroll down until you see the following and in the Filter Results select the Consortium dropdown box as seen highlighted below and select the CIC Online Course Sharing Consortium:
These courses can be filtered in various ways within the CIC consortium including (but not limited to) term, the Learning Management System (LMS) used (i.e., Canvas), and other useful filters.
When you find a course(s) you would like to see if you could take, you will need to begin the application process. Please review the BC Acadeum Policy and either pick up the Acadeum Course Application from the Registrar’s Office in Flory 100 or download the Acadeum Course Application here.
Please contact the Registrar’s Office if you have any questions. Email: registrar@bridgewater.edu; Office: Flory 100; Main Phone #: 540-828-5314.
