Christian Sheridan received his B.A. from Williams College and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Tufts University, all in English literature. His areas of specialization include medieval literature; medievalism (the portrayal of the Middle Ages in later cultures), especially in film; and poetry. Outside of the classroom, he is an avid bike racer and certified USA Cycling coach.
