Research areas and specializations
- British Imperialism in the Indian Subcontinent with a special interest in the Indian Political Service. I am currently completing a book length project on British civil and military personnel who worked for Pakistan after 1947. Publications include Ramparts of Empire: British Imperialism and India’s Afghan Frontier, 1918-1948 (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015).
