Theatre at BC Presents February Production

Theatre at Bridgewater College Presents: Oh, The Humanity (and other good intentions) By Will Eno. Feb. 18-21, 2026. Nightly showings at 7 p.m. in Cole Hall

Theatre at Bridgewater College will present Oh, The Humanity (and other good intentions) by Will Eno at 7 p.m. each evening February 18-21 in the Cole Hall auditorium.

Oh, The Humanity (and other good intentions) is a collection of five short plays about life. Witty, charming and playful, this production exposes the terrible hope and hilarious uncertainty of our lives, through the eyes of the well-known New York playwright Will Eno.

Student actors will portray a selection of people with something on their mind: a coach with an awkward confession, a spokeswoman who doesn’t know what to say and a couple who wants to fall in love.

The play will be directed by Associate Professor of Theatre Dr. Scott Cole and will feature actors Catelyn York ’28, Malachi Benjamin ’27, Maylynn Watson ’28, Kayla Stanley ’27, Brian Kennedy ’27, Zander Hall ’29, Tyler Hanning ’28 and Rayllah Mincey ’29. Student assistant directors are Mark Carlson ’29, Maria Gavriilidou ’26, Patricia Long ’27, Jamiah Mark ’26 and Acacia Scott ’27, and production stage manager is Keith Condrey ’28. Costume design is by Kathleen Conry, and set design and technical direction will be run by adjunct instructor of theatre Shannon Dove. Charlie Betkowski ’28 will be the set crew for the production.

Entry is free for BC staff, students and faculty, $10 for community members and $8 for those 65 years of age and older and non-BC students. Tickets are payable by cash or check at the door, 30 minutes prior to start time. This play is recommended for a mature audience.
