Irshad Manji will present an endowed lecture at Bridgewater College on Wednesday, January 21. A book signing will follow the lecture.
Manji will speak on, “Building Conversation Across Divides.” Manji is the founder of Moral Courage College, which equips people worldwide to turn heated issues into healthy conversations and sustained teamwork.
The recipient of Oprah’s “Chutzpah Award” for boldness, Manji is also an internationally bestselling author. Her latest book is Don’t Label Me, a guide to disagreeing better. (Fun fact: Chris Rock calls the book “genius.”) Formerly a professor of leadership at New York University, Manji now teaches with Oxford University’s Initiative for Global Ethics and Human Rights.
The endowed lecture is sponsored by the Anna B. Mow Symposium on Comparative Religious Ethics.
