Riverine by Steven David and Anna Maria Johnson explores the Shenandoah River biodiversity through photography, writing and design. In this series, conservation photographer Steven and writer/Virginia Master Naturalist Anna document their encounters with flora and fauna of the Shenandoah River, North Fork.
Riverine will be showcased Monday, Feb. 12, through Wednesday, March 27, in the Beverly Perdue Art Gallery located on the main level of the John Kenny Forrer Learning Commons. The art exhibition will have an opening reception in the gallery from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, with an artist’s talk at 5:30 p.m. The art exhibition, opening reception and artist’s talk are free and open to the public.
