Certificate in Nonprofit Management
Bridgewater College’s Certificate in Nonprofit Management provides you with the necessary foundation regarding the operation, finances and governance of nonprofit organizations. Only 12 credits, you can complete the certificate in two semesters or less. If you’re interested, you can easily continue on to complete your master’s degree after earning a certificate.

New graduate programs in nonprofit management at Bridgewater College will help current and future leaders develop the skills necessary to lead sustainable nonprofit organizations.

FAQs
The Bridgewater College MNPM program operates on a rolling admissions process. Applications open August 1 each year and are reviewed until May 1 or until the cohort is filled. It is best to submit your applications early to ensure the best opportunity to be admitted.
Admission to the MNPM program requires:
- A complete online graduate application.
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. We welcome candidates from all academic backgrounds to apply.
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale.
- Submission of official transcript(s) from all undergraduate and graduate course work completed.
- Personal Statement: Write an essay no longer than 700 words in which you:
- Demonstrate you have the ability to be successful in this program
- Demonstrate how this program will help you achieve your career goals
- THREE references must be submitted with your online application.
- No graduate entrance exam is required.
- There is NO FEE to submit your application.

Students can complete the 30 credit-hour MNPM full time in one year or take up to five years to complete it part time. The program is designed to accommodate the working professional’s schedule. The certificate can be completed in two semesters.

Tuition and fees are $640 per credit hour. The total budget for the program includes direct charges (tuition and fees) and estimated indirect costs (eg., books, travel).
Yes, this program is open to F-1 students. International students in F-1 status are required to participate in-person in accordance with federal regulations. F-1 students are limited to counting one class (up to three credits) of distance education per term toward the full-time enrollment requirement and cannot be remote in their final term/course.
