Join filmmaker Josh Sabey of Matters Media for a screening of his new documentary about the process by which 5,000 New Yorkers gathered in the largest town hall in American history to decide how to rebuild Ground Zero.
After the screening, Sabey will be in conversation with Dr. Carolyn J. Lukensmeyer, founder of AmericaSpeaks, an organization whose mission is to reinvigorate American democracy by engaging citizens in public decision-making. The event is sponsored by the Mark Leatherman Endowed Fund for Connecting and Community Building.
The event is free and open to the public.
